In parts of arizona, like the mountains, yeah, it can snow (but not much). It varies across the state.

Yes it does snow in Arizona. Usually in the northern part of the state like in the city of Flagstaff and areas around it. Elevation is the key, EI level above sea level. Places that have a elevation of 4000 feet or more have a good chance for snow.

Yes, I drove from TX to Nevada and went right through Arizona. It was really weird in the AM we were in sweltering desert conditions in Southern AZ, but when we had to go through the mountains in Flagstaff area, it was snowing and I was still wearing a sleeveless shirt! Brrrrr... It has everything to do w/ elevation. The more mountainous regions will have snow.

Actually arizona gets almost as more snow as anybody. Flagstaff, AZ gets over 100 inches on average of snow a year. Even though last year they didn't get any i don't think.

Yes, take a look at Mt Lemon just outside Tucson Arizona. I believe it is the most southern ski resort in the USA.
I think they get about 5 ft total during a normal winter

yes it does and no it isn't a stupid question, some times it can snow up to 2 foot over a years time. remember it desert climates the heat doesn't have anything to be absorbed into so it dissipates very quickly and it can be 50 in the day time and 12 at night. 100 degree days can turn into 50+/- 10 nights
