The laptop should have come with a restore disc if so you should be able just to put it in and go from there but if not then you can go into the start menu or help menu and go to system restore but I think you still need a restore disk or a windows disk.

it should have a restore disk or a restore partion the restore disk you just put in the drive and read the instructions

You should have a recovery CD. If not if you have windows xp ,go to your program list and hit restore.Good luck
