Both great actors. If I was in prison and they gave me a choice of which movies I'd like to see for life. Henry Fonda or Jimmy Stewart. Jimmy all the way. I love both actors but Jimmy Stewart had so many fun rolls. He's a little goofy and that's why he's so lovable. Henry is more of a serious actor in my eyes. So Jimmy it is!

Jimmy Stewart, he was great in Rear Window, Rope, Vertigo, Flight of the Phoenix. But, Henry Fonda was great in Grapes of Wrath and Mr. Roberts.

Jimmy Stewart, It's a Wonderful Life.
On Golden Pond, Henry Fonda.
These are the movies that stick in my mind when I think of these two actors.
Jimmy Stewart, though, will be my first choice.

Both great actors, but I'd select Jimmy Stewart. He made many wonderful films. One of my favorites was Shenandoah.

henry was cold to his kids; so I like Jimmy Stewart. As an actor, too, though he was one dimensional.

As an actor, Fonda.
As an all-around human being, though, definitely James Stewart. War hero, and all-American nice guy.
