Skillwise e-Learning is what I use with my 8th grade students.
SkillWise develops custom simulation courseware that helps me create new lessons using their well defined archives. Then, using whole group instruction, I'll usually review the lesson using a Smartboard or project the website. Students are intrigued with the simulations and don't realize that they are learning while having fun simply playing a game. In fact, the "Who Done It" is brilliant and one of the games I use to reinforce the skill "skimming." Students have the option to time themselves while looking for clues using their skimming skills. I use it as a reward for completing their homework! The website www.skillwise.net/uk/ shouldn't be hard to find. Good Luck.

U should be precise in asking as to what kind of remedy are u looking for.
The Instructional Technology resource that you asked for could be anything like an online class or E-Learning resource material in the form of a CBT ( Computer Based Tutorial) or a WBT ( Web Based Tutorial) and it could also be an ILT ( Instructor Led Training) . For a 7th or 8th grader any of these is ok. Preferrably an ILT.
