You can do Tools -> Clear Private Data or...
You can go to http://www.CCleaner.com and download the latest version of CCleaner (completely free). Besides cleaning any and all leftover trash from Firefox, it will also clean your cache, old prefetch data, all IE & Windows Temp folders, the 'Most Recently Used' locations in just about every program you have installed, and more. You can also customize it to keep whatever you want to keep.
It is completely safe and will not delete anything that you might consider important. I have been using it for over a year. I make it a habit of running it during every boot to keep my computer free of trash.
