It really won't be. It is a muscle and it stretched to allow the baby to come and went right back like when you stretch a rubber band. Now your uterus muscle is more like a balloon so although it will go back to almost normal and you won't be able to tell a difference if you get pregnant again you will show a little sooner just like a balloon thats been blown up and then deflated is easier to blow up the second time. By the way, expect it to hurt when your 6 to 8 weeks is up and you can have sex safely again. I've had four and it still hurt after the fourth so it must not be strected out and my husband doesn't think so either.

If you tear, it's not going to look the same and will probably change shape. But if you're worried about everything becoming looser, you can do kegel exercises (tightening and relaxing the muscles that control urine flow), which helps to keep everything 'in shape' down there. :)

if you are worried about it affecting your sex life or about pain and discomfort try to avoid an episiotomy, it is better to tear. (remember its your body you have a right to refuse anything you want...so if you don't want one tell the doctor before you start pushing that you do not consent and will sue if one is done unnecessarily...as that can be considered assault)...here is some information about episiotomy's http://www.changesurfer.com/Hlth/episiotomy.html
congratulations and have a joyous birthday!
