I connected my friends pc to my router. It says limited or no connectivity. What to do?

start over what are you trying to do here set up wireless network on 2 or more pc's ? if so start over go to da pc with router on go in router settings . look for (WLAN) hit on that then hit on config
set up network id that can be mixed letters with numbers. then set it for ur region . then at bottom set up wep or wpa security key then hit apply & ok

then go to pc that you want to have wireless on install network drivers . then hit on that network icon . then from there p[ut in ur network id and security key then hit apply & ok now ur have 2 pc's online router pc' an wireless pc if you want to set up other pc do it same way then set up other pc again you can have all ur pcs run off ur router by wireless

turn off the PC
turn on the router
turn on the pc after the router starts and make sure your TCP/IP settting are set to automatic along with the router settings. Best advice i can give as sometimes the devices just need to be syncronized.

router is always connected with pc through consol cable or cross cable
if u r using console then it u will logon to router by hyperterminal
and if u r using cross cable then use TELNET on port no 23.

you need to go in to your control panel go to home network setup and then run the setup wizard and that should give the computer access to the network
