Seriously mentally ill is my impression. Only another sociopath would take them both seriously.

Franken is a comedian and says as much...to me it's like watching him on Saturday Night Live in the old days. Rush is a serious pundit...Franken is a part timer. however, much of Limbaugh's stuff is formed around supporting an issue or position and not finding the truth or the moral ground...Franken is at least concerned with factual information however much he twists it to his point of view...Rush is a hypocritical blowhard, Franken is a comedian who finds that most of the world is full of crap...stranded on a island with both of them, I'd conspire against Rush so that Franken and I could get some protein in our diet.

Al Franken is an obvious comedian doing political comedy.
Rush Limbaugh is an obvious political hater doing drugs.

Both are very good entertainers. They say things they often don't beleve thierself to upset callers and get people to call in to rant and rave and make fools of thierself.
Most likely If Rush had thought he could have made more money being a Liberal, he would have been a Liberal.
I doubt he really beleives half of what he talks about, He gets rich making people hate him and call in.
Al Franken, I am not sure if he actually beleives all of the .... he talks every day. ( yes I listen to both of them) He seems to have more of a real agenda, but again, he is there to upset you and to rock your opinions.

Franken is entertaining and his statements reflect thought, he is a Liberal. Limp-blimp is as opposite as you can get, not entertaining, rather insulting to anyone of average or better intelligence, thoughtless, reactionary and he fabricates his statistics.

No. I think Don King needs to promote a jello fight between the two idiots. Of course Franken would probably be a no show, and if he did show up, Limbaugh would lose all sense of reality and end up eating Franken, thinking he was in fact a large liberal jello monster.

Divide and conquer... the extreme factions of both parties are the activists of the each side. They ridicule the opposite side with humorous cut down to emotionally rallies their base and to secure just enough of the middle to secure power.
Once they secure power, they have to pay back the activists and lobbyist who paid for the campaign with your money. The middle has to wake up and move politics back to a formal debate of ideas instead of a matter of image with no substance. So no one should either take these two seriously.
