I have seen them perform urination, defecation, and reproduction all without regard to being noticed. WHAT GIVES?

they're shameless, irresponsible creatures. we need to put some clothes on those elephants or something - i am jealous of their elongated schlongs.

that is true survival. a wild animal is most vulnerable when it is feeding, fighting, taking a big big sh-it, in the midst of sex or semination, and while trying to attract the opposite sex. some predators use their scat as territory markers, some herbivores too. others drop 'em on the move, birds drop 'em ASAP as the sh-it is additional weight.

but have u seen ur dog or cat when it sh-its or even when it pees, they get uncomfortable if strangers or other animals come near.

you should probably also ask the quetion why dont wild animals wear clothes?

In the wild, not just the jungle, survival is more important than privacy. Being separated from others of your kind can get you killed.
