1) The speed of your Internet connection can vary due to line or Internet conditions

2). Bittorrent speeds depend on how many peers and seeds there are.

One day the file you may be downloading might have 10 seeds. The same file on the next day may only have 4 seeds.

The more seeds a file has the faster your download will be.

A "seed" is a user who has fully downloaded the file and is sharing by uploading.

All torrents work through a concept of peer and seed...dat is uploading and downloading....the more the number of uploads takes place the more the no of downloads....dat is ur upload is dirctly proportional to ur downloads...eg:-if u keep ur internet connection d whole nite even without downloading a file..the uploading still takes place...this gives u a lot of credit in the server...so the next time u download a file ,ur speed will b maximum...but if u use utorrent for 2 hrs and den close it the uploading stops and therefore the next time u turn utorrent on ur downloading rate becomes real slow
P.S:therefore if u want utorrent to download at a maximum speed...keep it connected even though ur not downloading a file
