ok so ithis is like the fourth post. I have missed two periods. Have taken many home hpt and two blood tests, which were all negative. Last week i finished a round of provera (pill to induce period not the shot). I still have not started. My last lmp was aug 22nd, but didnt have sex till sep 13-18. No changes in stress, weight or activities. I stopped taking nuvring in june. Has this happened to anyone else? Has anyone really been pregnant still with negative results?

Sometimes it takes longer for the pregnancy hormone to show up in home tests. (It took me 3 months to get a bright line for positive...my other results were very faint lines.)

Did your DR do a blood test before giving you the pill to induce your period? If not, then I'd get a blood test done. If the DR did a blood test and it came out negative...I'm sorry honey, I haven't heard of this happening. (Although, I've heard of 1 case where the blood test didn't pick it up for a little bit...like a 1 1/2 months later...but you're almost 3 months later.)

If the first day of your last period was Aug 22nd, the likelihood of you getting pregnant from Sept 13-18 is low. UNLESS, you have a really long cycle (more than 30 days, obviously...) Or, unless your ovulation schedule is off.

Otherwise...unless you're breastfeeding (or just quit breasfeeding), have a history of irregular periods, or are extremely stressed...I'm not sure what it could be.

Honestly, wait another few days and go to your DR again. If she doesn't know what it is, then get a second blood test or another DR.

Good luck...I know this must be frustrating!

Alot of times it depends on age.. i read in 17 magazine that iregular periods can be caused by hormonal issues...Or you can juss be pregnant the best thing to do is if you dont have a period in the next1 -2 weeks see the doctor.
