And before you say something sarcastic, Yes, I'm pushing the clutch all the way down. Most of the time I have to jiggle the gear shift in neutral with the clutch down before it will go into gear, but this is only when I'm putting it into 1st, or reverse after being stopped. When I'm shifting into 2nd or other gears, it goes smoothly. What's wrong with my car?

1st and rev are non sychro gears and will always be a littler harder to shift, however it sounds like it may be more than that.first of all, check the fluid in the trans.,or better yet have it changed.that maybe all it takes.have them make sure there are no bent linkages or worn bushings.also, make sure your engine and transmission mounts are ok.

check gearbox condition- switch off -try pulling in all gears -if its smooth and locks in your clutch is the culprit.does shifting when on move or starting creates a grating noise. its the clutch again check cluth pedal free play it should be not more than 1/2-1 inch if more get it adjusted first before you blow money on the clutch repairs.
if clutch is ok try the free play on the stick loose gear linkages can also cause false shifting

you did not mention type of car or mileage but it looks like early warning signs of your clutch going out/ I would take it to a trusted mechanic as soon as possible

have your pressure plate checked out, or maybe the linkage. try not to jiggle the stick and see what happens!

sounds like maybe your car has a synchronizer. try putting it into second before shifting into first, to synchronize it.
