What risks/threats could there be?

It is indeed a need . But can become a threat if u do not know how to use it judiciously. The Thumb rule should be to use it as a tool for "just to keep in touch in case of emergency". And it will definitely become nuisance to others if one does not have the proper manners to use a cell phone in public

in this day and time everyone needs a cell phone you'll never known when you need one.i know people who go stuck on the highway and wished they had a cell phone,after they get back home the husband got the phone

its both...my phone saved my life...when i got attacked i was able to call my friend so they could help me...i think its a need to keep you safe and its convinient..
