I'm a Rutgers grad, but I'm not so sure they can beat Louisville. The Cardinals will be coming off of a great win against West Virginla (not Virginia, Virginia is in the ACC, West Virginia is in the Big East), and they play AT Rutgers, so if there's any emotional residue from the victory over W Va, it could affect Louisville when they vist Rutgers next Thursday.
The Louisville game will be, by far, the biggest test for Rutgers' defense so far this season.
If Rutgers somehow does manage to beat Louisville, I wouldn't put it past them to knock of West Virginia, although that game will be at W.Va...
Even if Rutgers wins those two games, they still have a game with Cincinnati, a dangerous team.
It is looking more and more like a Big East team could play for the national title provided either Rutgers or Louisville remain unbeaten. But there's still a long way to go yet.
Gotta love the Scarlet Knights this year though...came from out of nowhere!
Not gonna bet the house on it though! But I wish them luck!
