HELP! Before i thow my computer OUT THE WINDOW!?

Question

ok my mom got me a brand new computer for my birthday (yay!) i made an account for me, my sister, my mom, and dad. i was the computer administrator (yay!) but my mom and dad did not use the computer. so that means they dont acess their accounts. so i took over my dad's making it from limited to Computer administrator and renamed it. and did that with my mom's one day also. and then i deleted my sisters. so i was the only account in the computer. i created another account for my sister (again) and then i deleted that one. and know it says that I NEED TO BE LOGGED ON AN ADMINISTRATR ACCOUNT whenever i want to download Real player or ICQ and all those fun programs. but the thing that just makes me mad is that I AM THE COMPUTER ADMINISTRATOR!!! I AM LOGGED IN AS THE COMPUTER ADMINISTRATOR!! and i'm the only Person with an account on the computer!

Boot up to safe mode (hit F8 key just before you would see the windows splash screen).
At the welcome screen, you should see an account named 'Administrator'. Log into that account, go to the user control panel nad make sure that each account that you think is an administrator account actually is an administrator account. But you have to do this in safe mode or else you can't log in as administrator.
If you are using XP Professional, at the welcome screen, hit Ctrl+Alt+Del twice to bring up the login screen, type in administrator as the username and leave the password blank (unless you set up one during the initial setup process). Right click my computer, click manage, and select local users and groups. Double click groups in the right hand pane, and double click administrators. Click add, and add the user names that you want to be administrators. This only works in Pro though, Home doesn't have the option to use the local users and groups MMC plugin. Good luck!

You should have deleted your dad, mom and sister if you were going to be the only one on the computer. You need to make yourself adm. and delete the other accounts.

The only thing that I could tell you is to call the lab tech and see if they could help you first if they can not help you just reformat your computer and set it up the way you want it to be and that should fix it.

haha cool down there i know what you did b/c you reset it from limited to ADMINISTRATOR . and delete an reset up accounts its made windows god lalalalala so lets try tfix this for you . but you must be cool & not mad dont thow pc out window or there be no pc cool down . restart pc . as pc is starting up keep hitting on (F8) key . ur come to a screen where it says at top >>safemode go upto that hit on enter then hit on enter again then wait for pc to go to login screen , ur see (ADMINISTRATR) user account hit on that pc will go to desktop. now be cool from here not mad .. >>hit on start control panel> user accounts
hit on the account you want to have as ADMINISTRATR htne hit on >> change avccount type set that for ADMINISTRATR . then exit it it will be a good thing to creat a new account as well hit on creat new account set use account name as < now wait for this login screen to come up and hit on

ADMINISTRATR 1 . account then ur in then ur have to go to start search hit on alll files & folders and put in da name of da files you have download hit search to find them . then install then and set them up if you cant find them go to the other account get the name of file then go back to ADMINISTRATR 1 fild the file in search and install and set up
