Lol, but seriously, I think they clean it a section at a time, so while the gym is open, a particular machine, or a few machines are closed for cleaning at any one time.
I had a friend who worked at a gym, and that's how they did it there.

it doesn't...when you're running on the treadmill they come and clean while you're on it sweating. it's weird cause these people are dusting and wiping down the machines and you're just looking at them

duh.....if its 24 hrs it doesn't....they clean around you as you workout.
