It's very similar to might and magic, but not might and magic. you travel around a map with a party going to things like caves/towns completing quests. Occasionally you run into bands of wolves, bandits goblins etc. where it cuts to a battle field. A turn by turn battle happens, you can use bow and arrows or swords. I'm pretty sure the game was made in the mid/early 90's. Relaly enjoyed the game but haven't played it in like 7 years or so! Please help!

Hmm...I would say Lords of Magic, but that had real-time battles...where the factions Eight Faiths(Life, Death, Order, Chaos, Earth, Air, Water, and Fire?) Other than that and Might and Magic, I can't think of anything else that would fit...

I think I know that one: the Disciples franchise...I played Disciples II: Guardians of the Light once. It's a stand-alone expansion to Disciples II: Dark Prophecy...it's pretty good. I may be mistaken, though.
