Get involved with campaigns. Join the young ________s in your area. They will start you out putting up posters, registering voters and raising funds, unless you have connections.
Oh, almost forgot, have your morals surgically removed.

Do you mean you want to be a politician?
If yes, first have your head examined.
Then, if you still want to be one, learn to lie, cheat, steal, call your opponents names, spend billions on campaigns, be "bought" by lobbyists and special interests. It never hurts to have a "secret" sexual deviancy, or a drug problem. Oh yeah, be sure to take acting lessons so that you can sound sincere when you tell the voters how you will help them.

You have to go to college and I dont mean one of those jerk around while youre figuring out what you want to do with your life community colleges, I mean a university college. Also, it might be a good idea to get involved with your schools student government or some type of extracurricular organization, colleges love extracurriculars and they help you get letters of recommendation. Dont drink alcahol or smoke weed as this will affect your reputation. Along with that watch who you hang out with because birds of a feather flock together. After all that the most you can do is kiss *** until your lips go numb and pray every night.

You can start by stopping anything you do right now that might later be considered or misconstrued as immoral or wrong because as soon as you run for office your opposition will start digging in your records and your past so you should probably try to make good grades to.

It takes a lot of money, which will get you lots more when you get in politics specially if you join the Republican party. Stick with people who had a lot of dealings with a guy named Abramoff.
