First off, I want to say that Im so sorry if you are having a miscarriage. I have had 2 miscarriages this year and it is one of the most devastating experiences I have ever had. These are the symptoms I had.
1) Cramping that feels stronger than period cramps
2) Pregnancy symptoms that suddenly go away - for me it was breast tenderness that suddenly disappeared
3) Bright red blood that looks like a period and you are soaking a pad every hour. Don't use tampons because it could cause an infection.
Sometimes it starts as brownish red discharge then later turns to bright red. Then you will clot heavily then pass a large, spongy grey mass (pregnancy matter).
It is very scary so try to stay calm and see your doctor ASAP so that you don't get an infection. There is medication you can take at home if prescribed by your doctor.
Blessings and Good luck to you. =)

I had a miscarriage last year. I was 5 weeks along.
My symptoms were as follows:
*Tiredness
*Bleeding (Red-Brown)
*Pain in my stomach
*Pain in my back
The bleeding was not heavy though and no clots or tissue came out of me, But the pain was awful.
If you think you might be having this go to the er. Good luck

I unfortunately had 2 miscarriages between my second and third children. I started spotting, then severe cramps and the within then started passing large amounts of blood and some tissue.

One of the first signs is bleeding. Not spotting, but heavy bleeding. Most of the time too, pain. Contact your doctor asap!
