Hormones vary with periods of stress in life. Infections also may cause a lack of a period. An anovulatory period is most likely what your having, they are vary common when your young. It just a time in life when your periods will be off. If your not active, it should correct by the next month. Doctors don't usually worry until three consequtively missed periods.
Other than that, alot also has to do with your weight, and familial history. But when your young, your hormones are crazy. So sometimes two cycles in a month, sometimes none.

Any birth control pill containes hormones which can lead to side effects from taking them. One of those side effects is irregular or missed periods. You should inform your Doctor of the changes in your cycle, so that they can make adjustments. Some women take birth control pills in order to skip their period. They take all the pills except the placebo pills at the end and start right away with a new pack and they skip their period. I would be careful doing this because it can lead to problems down the road. Good luck!

At your age periods are not always established in a regular pattern. It is not due to pregnancy, you can know that for sure because you've had no intercourse with a man. Stress also plays a part in delaying periods, I've experienced it myself when I was younger. Yes, they were weeks late. Or you could have irregular periods which is not uncommon, either. If anything particularly worries you about your body, talk to your mother and maybe you could go together to see your doctor who could explain some things to put your mind at rest and reassure you that everything is normal.

Did you just start taking the birth control? Stress is notorious for throwing your cycle off in a heartbeat. There is always a possibility that the birth control you are using might not be working for you, so I suggest you check with your doctor.

Did you just start birth control, or recently switch brands? That could be why. Otherwise, you should call your doctor and make an appointment to see if you're ok. Good luck.

Well it could be stress, being too thin, (anorexic-like, abnormally thin), or it could be that you are too physically active in sports. There are a lot of reasons, some girls are just very irregular. Don't worry unless it doesn't show up next month either. Then go see a doctor.

It could be a lot of things. You should at least consult your doctor over the phone or make an appointment and find out what is going on.

You need to see a doctor to get your pills changed OR the pills that you are on, this may be normal. If you have the depo shot, then not having a period is very normal.
