A lot. A loooooot. If you search for the words "Harry Potter," you are going to come up with upwards of a zillion questions on the subject. Though I noticed you didn't ask any specifics, such as which one is my favorite, or what do I think will happen in the seventh. And for that, deep down, I am thankful. Too many guesses as to what's going to happen...

Millions of people have read the Harry Potter books!! Come on, they have even been translated in Zulu, so that says a lot... I have read them countless times, in english but also translated in my own language (which is romanian), and i can say i loved them all. I'm almost 23 years old, and i read the first book at 16, when a good friend (who was 26 years old at that time) told me i should. Then my 50 years old father read them, and now we are both waiting for the last one. It's interesting to see how many adults have answered your question, and how they all said they liked it. It's more than a book for children. Much more than that!

I'm not sure how many people here read the Harry Potter books, but I do and I am 51.

My son does also, and I bless anything that got him off pokemon!

Count me in! I discovered the wonderfully entertaining Harry Potter book series after watching "Harry Potter and Sorcerer's Stone" in the movie theater and I've been completely fascinated with them ever since. I'm in my 20's and I've read each of the six books several times. I think it is fun discovering new things with every reading (catching clues that I didn't recognize for what they were the first time I saw them).

I've read all the books that have come out already. I've read each book at least two or three times.

I've read the first 5 books three times each. The sixth one I've only read twice. It will get a third reading before number seven comes out, though. (I'm 42, by the way.)

Yes! Didn't like book 5. Prisoner of Azkaban was my favourite.

My 10 year old and I battle over who can read the new ones first!

I read the first book because of all the hype. It was not bad but I decided there are much better novels out there to spend my time reading.
