Start enjoying life for one thing. You can't always do everything right, that is why it is called life and we are here to practice life each day. That is why we get another chance the next day. So make your mistakes, that is the great thing about a mistake is not the regret, but that you learn from them. If you never make a mistake you will become a very dull person. Everyone thinks once in awhile, I could have probably done that differently. Then the next time it happens you have your chance to do it differently. So give life a chance and live it. Your mind is your worst enemy, let it go before it holds you back to much. It sounds like it already has. So the next time it happens, tell yourself, STOP! And just do it.

Do things that will make you proud of yourself. It is OK for you to be human. If you feel you've made mistakes then learn from them and realize your true potential. The person who knows the most, thinks the most, feels the most IS THE MOST! You obviously have a great deal of self worth or you wouldn't be asking this. Your heart is in the right place full of good intentions.
Everyone of us has doubts and regrets so stop dwelling on the past. You can't turn back the clock. Tomorrow is a new day. Believe that you are a positive force in God's universal quantum manifestation. Because you are!
Stop beating yourself up with a self imposed guilt trip and get a good nights sleep. You are certainly are worth it and are more than entitled to it.

Hi Anna,
it sounds like you are having problems with regret because you are not confident in yourself or your decisions. There are a few strategies you can take to help you with this:
First is to calm down. Worry about these things are not good for your mental or physical health. You need to first start to meditate. You do this by going to a quiet, comfortable place and closing your eyes. Relax yourself and concentrate on nothing but the darkness around you. If a memory pops in your head, don't try hard to push it out, simply guide it out softly and keep concentrating. Try 5 minutes at first and eventually go longer. If you have access to it, I would try Yoga or exercise too. This will help to rid you of stress.
Next is your self confidence. You need to learn to just let things go and be confident that you can take whatever life throws at you next. If you feel you are making bad decisions, try to plan them accordingly so you can think before you act. You need to be a little selfish right now and do things for you. If something in you is saying "this isn't right" listen to yourself and don't do it! You won't have to worry about disapointing someone. If they really care about you, they'll understand.
So try the meditation tonight and I hope you get a better nights sleep. Just remember, there is nothing that you cannot overcome. You're a strong girl Anna!

Sounds like anxiety. Same with me. I do things that i can be proud of and speak to others in respectful ways so i won't regret but I find myself regretting mundane stuff after the fact like did I talk to that guy too long and slow him down even though he enjoyed the conversation our why didn't I remember to tell that lady about xx? I also regret things from the past like childhood. Everybody made stupid mistakes in childhood but I'm really hard on myself about mine. This is what anxiety does to us.

Learn to love yourself. Don't be too hard on yourself. You make mistakes but you are learning each day and you are trying. Deep down you are good person. No one is perfect that is what being human is all about. Expecting perfection is a sin in reality. It keeps you held back. Try different things and experiment. You will be ok. If you are spiritual, you can pray. If not just do things that make you feel good inside and keep building on the positive. Good luck and muah!!

Just don't do things that you will regret. We have all done things that we wish we hadn't done but that don't make us bad. Don't fret about it, just try not to do those things again. God Bless. You sound like a very kind person with a conscience. You will be OK. Sweet dreams. Hugs

Start counting your blessings instead .
If you need a push to figure
out what they are , look
around at those
who are less
fortunate.
