How many of you think Ricky Martin is gay?

I think he is hot but im but i find it kind of strange that in all this time he has only had one serious girlfriend and never even been photographed witn any other girls, imean maybe he is one of those very private people ,but all a waste of man if he is,he is sooo hot.

First of all, if you do a search on Answers, you will notice that this is the 10TH time that someone has asked this question! Next, why do you care? Why does anyone care about his sexuality? This is such a trivial topic when the man is doing so much for children all over the world right now!

I know that in the past he has refused to talk about it, but there is a television interview that I saw online where he says "No, I'm not gay". Now you can take it for what it is and move on or you can continue to question it. About him being so private about his relationships...he said years ago (after everyone was up in his relationship with Rebeca De Alba) that he was going to be more protective of who he's dating and his relationships from then on. That is why you don't see photos and such because basically people...its none of our business! If he doesn't want to flaunt a girlfriend in front of the cameras, kudos to him. And even if he did you people would say it was a front anyway, so no matter what he does you all will believe whatever you want to. So why should he say whether he is gay or not, you all already feel you know the answer so stop asking!

Its obvious that those who ask this question (as well as some who have answered) are not fans of the man. Its obvious that you know nothing of his accomplishments and charity work...nor do you care. I've been of fan of his since 1984 and have had the pleasure of meeting him a few times over the years. I think that he is probably one of the nicest people on the planet with the biggest heart of anyone I have ever met. Am I in denial about what his sexuality may or may not be, no. I just don't feel that it makes a difference either way. I adore him for the man he is and for his talent, bottom line.

Instead of asking is he gay, why not ask what part can I play in helping him end child trafficking? Or what is the website address to his foundation? Lets talk about the Person of the Year award he just received from the Latin Grammy's committee. Or how about what day does his MTV Unplugged concert air and when does that CD come out?

The holidays are fast approaching and all you people can think about is who someone sleeps with?! Lets get our priorities in gear and start to think about more imporant things!

Possible but not probable. Even if he did say that he was - I might not believe him. There's so many lies, political agendas, immoral thoughts and activities when it comes to these Hollywood Stars that one can never know what to believe or if any of them are truly trustworthy. I mean after Mel Gibson did that Jesus Film thing - I started to wonder if maybe he was one of the good guys but then he gets a DWI? I mean, I don't get it - he's rich, famous - if he is a moral person - why doesn't he have self control enough with the booze not to drink and drive like an idiot? So I don't even have alot of respect for him these days. Anything is possible but I don't believe 99% of what I hear from Hollywood. Now there's Madonna - adopting a baby from Malawi. Okay - porno queen - caring motherly/loving. Slut - promoting sex all of her life to teenagers. How do these things go together - in Hollywood - seemingly easy - but I have almost no respect for a person with such ubelievably mixed values and obviously hypocritical thinking. Will she sing her sick songs to her kids and show them her adult pics? She's done that to the American public for a long time and poisoned the minds of teenagers into thinking sex without any thought is a great thing to do. Hollywood - they are the least believable role models in our population.

I don't know about Ricky, but I just read the Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser) is gay. It's funny that he plays the womanizer on the show "How I met your Mother". Tv does that a lot. Niles (David Hyde Pierce) on Frasier is gay and he was supposed to be head over heels in love with Daphne. I've seen pictures of Ricky doing yoga on a beach with his trainer (a guy). The looked a lot like life partners to me.

Since I've never seen him with another man, making out, holding hands, or otherwise indicating he's gay, then I cannot assume he is in fact a gay man. But if he is, I don't really care. It's his life.
