The creep set himself up. Maybe he should have been paying attention to his job instead of emailing cute boys!!

PS: Too bad it wasn't on Dateline: To Catch a Predator

Mark Foley set HIMSELF up. HE apparently thought he would never be caught. He wasn't sick either, and if he drank it was because he wanted to. He had enough sense to go into rehab as soon as he was 'found out' - something some 'advisor' told him to do no doubt. He had himself a ball for many years, and now the time has come to pay the piper.
I don't feel sorry for him or any other sick pedophile. And I'll just bet there are many many more strolling the halls in Washington, DC. just waiting to get caught, so they too can beg forgiveness and enter 'rehab'
They are SO predictable.

Yeah, totally, those Clinton Dems. First, they used secret mind-control tricks to get him to lust after teenaged boys. Then they found the sexiest young men in America and sent them to work as pages. Then they slipped Spanish Fly into Foley's drinks every day so that he would be in a constant state of arousal. Finally, they found a Republican who ratted him out. Totally.

Of course, if the Clintons were really as powerful as you people keep claiming, why is our government controlled by a bunch of conservatives now? I mean, jeez, I like the Clintons, but I hardly want to accord them the god-like powers you seem to want to credit them with.

well gee ... even if it was some "clinton Dem" aren't you happy that a pedophile who was stalking young boys was exposed, especially since he was on of the Child Protection Task Force?

or would you rather that the Republican Congress kept enabling Foley's behavior with excuses and cover ups?

I don't think you can blame this one on the Democrats. There are many Mark Foley's in the Republican party. Repressed sexuality, fake morality, and one lie after another to cover the whole sick mess up. What hypocrisy!!

the fist sign of problems with Mr. Foley occurred during the Clinton year. I seems as though Mr. Foley was e-mailing Mrs. Clinton about how she looked so masculine and how he wanted her so bad. Hillary in a brilliant political motive introduced him to the Senate page system and the unlimited number of young male looking to get ahead by giving head. Mrs Clinton was in the middle of paying back bill for his indiscretions. Her and Foley would do a Eiffel tower on the young men. Hillary knowing that this type of publicity would only help her image risked exposing mark and his attachment to young men. he was so relived to be outed that he never mentioned the tie in to the Democrats. however he did co author the e-mails with Bill

Mark Foley was "set up" by his own perversion.

I hope so - turnabout is fair play. If the repubs can let loser Ken Starr spend $60 million dollars to report to us in his investigation that Clinton did an intern ( and that, by the way, is all it says ) then somebody needs to slam a few repubs. The Ken Starr investigation was to have been about Whitewater. When his report was done, it mentioned Whitewater 6 times and referenced the Lewinsky/Clinton sexcapade more than 50 times - and we needed to use taxpayer money for that?
