Probably within 2-3 weeks, every woman is different. Most women can be dialated to 3-5 cm for several days and it can take several days to get there. You can start walking more to try to start labor but pretty much it is going to happen when you are least expecting it.

She's ideal...my practitioner scraped my membranes, I lost maximum of my mucus plug and then no longer something occurred. via my next week's flow to my mucus plug had easily formed returned. on the different hand I easily have undemanding pals who lost their mucus plug and went into spontaneous exertions. regrettably there is only no thank you to comprehend! those previous few weeks are the worst yet relax certain you're SO close to to the end line. hold close in there and better of success to you!

Congratulations on the starting to dilate, you have to dilate a little for the plug to come away which can be anytime, from weeks, days or hours before birth, it all depends on when your body is ready, its is normally to start to dilate for a few weeks before the labour starts, I was in labour for only 3 hours but was already 6cm dilated as I had dilated for the week coming up to labour. the last 4cm took me 6 hours to dilate. As you have already started to dilate, you can walk and do squats to help the process along also sex helps to soften the cervix making it easier to dilate.

Best wishes and good luck.

there is no way to tell. but i will say that you can be at a 1 for quite some time! i was dilated to a 3 for 11 days. but my friend was dilated to a 2 when she went to the Dr, and had her baby that night. i am sure this is not what you want to hear, but be patient and your baby will come before you know it!
best of luck!
