I want to work a job. I Get Home Schooled. Can I still work even though i get homeschooled, or are their special guidelines for homeschooled teens. Thanks, oh and Their are certain laws for teens working. what are they and how many hours does a teen have to work maximum. Thanks, 10 ptz for best answer...

well it depends on where u live, sum places that hire 14 year olds are taco bell, brewsters, quiznoes, waffle house, common market

There are strict regulations on what days and hours a teen can work but it varies from state to state. In most cases the age is 15 with a work permit. Your city, county or state should be able to direct you to the agencies that represent teens. You can also check with Junior Achievement if you are looking to work for yourself which you can do at any age. What do you have to lose? Since you are just 13, I will advise you to focus more on study. Even if you wanna make extra cash, make it through working online. I am a full time worker doing work online at home, so I can share my personal experience with you. you need working papers to get a job. And I don't think it matters whether you are home schooled or not. There is a limit to hrs. you can work but, I am not sure what it is in your area. Their are certain jobs you can't do also.This should be expllained to you.
