Hmmm The question you're asking is an exceedingly huge one. enable's see now - the user-friendly answer on your question is "particular" yet you could desire to evaluate context, subculture and motivation. because of the fact the baby you "ought to" be considered the sufferer. i'm an person and that i detect that toddlers many times "try" their parents to the element of discipline. it somewhat is the character of the discern/baby dating. a baby would desire to locate it somewhat is barriers and the discern is the entity in charge for exhibiting them. Slapping (notwithstanding if it somewhat is around the face) is a stupid variety of discipline. A mom canines will nip their puppies, A lion will bat the cubs with their claws mutually as a male lion would only kill them. Birds, properly pecking or the chicks fall out of the nest and die. Human toddlers are as apt to die as any others in the event that they fail to learn or act sensibly. a youthful baby these days left residing house at 3 interior the morning and have been given run over via a vehicle. having the flexibility to open a door does no longer make you independant :) i replaced into punished the two verbally and bodily (belt, can, timber, hand and feet). You advise "slapping"; the place?, How many times? have been you being intentionally provocative (cheeky)? Did you deserve some variety of punishment? evaluate additionally that your father could be no longer able to locate any different way.

YES it is child abuse. I don't see how parents can be so cruel. It is obvious the mother is too lazy to take the time to teach her daughter the things every young girl should learn. Like the importance of good hygiene. So instead she inflicts on the child a horrible experience.

YES....thats definitely child abuse. grrr. child is a child, no matter wrong doings the child commit, no need to apply such punishment like that. instead explain to the child carefully the do and donts in a very soft spoken voice, even the child is stubborn and hardheaded. always remember and be concern to the childs welfare. parents should know the proper dicipline. maybe that lady who punish her child with that kind i may say brutally, was that lady was a victim of child abuse, and she applied it to her child. goodness i cant imagine the cruelty she made to her child. that should be reported to the concern institution who protects the well being of the children. im angry you know, that lady shouldnt be a mother.

Yes, I would say so. She is now teaching her child to associate cleanliness with punishment, and maybe she'll start taking her baths now because she was punished, but you have to wonder how she'll handle personal hygiene in the future. Her mother should have sat her down and had a discussion about why bathing is important, and then sent her child back into the bathroom to actually take a bath.

Yes most certainly! Not too smart for her to admit to doing this in front of others. Almost like a cry for help. Sounds like she is saying she has control issues involving this child. She probably thought this would be funny. But it's very disturbing. Like she wants to hurt her daughter. What do the other ladies think?

Hell yes that is abuse!!!! Somebody needs to report her to child protective services. I have an 11 year old son and i would never even think of doing something like that. For punishment she should've put her on restriction or taken away phone priviledges for a week. Someone needs to put that lady in bath of ice water and make her sit in it for an hour.

Abuse is the beginning of it, that is pure torture and worse, it will damage the child mentally. She will mess around and the child will never want to bathe. What kind of mess is that Do they own a television? You take that away, the computer, the radio, etc. I doubt she will share that with any law enforcement.

Defining abuse is rather difficult, isn't it? Pretty much that which is done to harm a person's body or with disregard to the dignity of the person's body is abuse. It seems like that wasn't something that was intended to get the child to understand something, but rather was an attempt to instill fear in her. I would say it was abuse.
I don't know the temperature of the water but "ice cold water" leads me to believe it was cold enough to be what her mother should have understood to be an attack on her.

Most definitely; it is "Child Abuse." It's extremely sad to know that people would do such a thing to a "Precious Child." The child can suffer from "sudden shock" and/or hypothermia. If you or anyone you know of someone that has thought of or has done this to an innocent child please do the right thing and report it.
