Because under watch of the republicans 9/11 happened. Under the same government we still don't have the terrorist responsible for the crime (dead or alive). Yet we have gone into another country captured it's ruthless leader found him hidden is a secret hide out. Just maybe maybe with democrat in office we might just get the murderous monster who is responsible for 9/11. In five year the republicans haven't!

Why not Independent or something other than Red or Blue? Anybody who is educated and studies issues just doesn't vote for a "party". That is so old school. Instead of watching a football game on Sunday guys, or going to get your nails done ladies, why not study the candidates?

The Conservative philosophy - in a nutshell - is: Give us the 'goodies' (read 'money') and power and we will see that everybody is taken care of.
The Liberals' is: Spread it around and it will find its way up in a sort of 'litmus' process to the 'haves' who weild the power to make that happen, meantime us 'have-nots' will enjoy at least some of the bounty for a while and allow a few (relatively speaking) lucky or enterprising souls have a chance at 'the ring'.
It's called the 'Trickle-down Theory' of government.

Because I believe in having a balanced federal budget and helping my neighbor out when they're in trouble so that they will help me out when I am. Also, I like my air clean, my water sewage-free, and my energy from clean, renewable, American sources, rather than from dirty fuels that I have to suck up to dictatorships to get. Finally, I believe that our greatest resource is our ingenuity, and I'll vote for the party that respects the science that's behind that ingenuity and therefore our economy.

well, since i'll probably be voting on one of those Diebold voting machines it's hard to say if my vote will be counted but i'm voting Democrat in the hopes some checks and balances can be restored to government functioning. rubber stamping GW's every whim has been disasterous.
PS. right on, random!

... main issue...
bin Laden... barely any attempt to get him... that is unacceptable to me...
secondary issues:
Iraq is being run like a third grade play version of "Tom Sawyer"... except it's much more expensive than that...
huge investor tax cuts have given millions, probably billions back the wealthiest...
I feel no safer... the economy seems to be worse, from my point of view, than it was 6 years ago...
it seems like Republicans have basically done nothing in 6 years... granted, they didn't ruin the country... but America doesn't want status quo... they want continual improvement

No Democrat! I am a Republican but I vote the issues and not necessarily the party line. However, the Democrats who are intelligent, reasonable. moral, or patriotic are few and far between. So I vote mostly Republican.

I believe that good health care, decent jobs and education should be for everyone, not just those who are wealthy enough to afford them. I think that certain rights and freedoms should be for every American regardless of their race, sex or religious preference.
