Talk to someone, even if it's your own parents if you think they would understand & try to help. If not, then try a teacher or guidance counselor at school.

Talk to an adult you trust immediately. She may need psycological help, and an adult can make that judgement. Her mom may also be abusing her; because of this it is also important that you tell an adult. It is out of your hands. Still, tell your friend how beautiful she is and what a wonderful person she is, take her out on a "girl's night" to the mall, and listen to her when she wants to talk. In a time like this, she needs a good friend more than ever. She may seem reclusive and try to push you away, but don't get discouraged. And remember, talk to an adult you trust.

Take your fren to a counseller and take advice. Counsellers' always ask for both the parties to be present so ur fren has to take her parents fi she wants to go to see a counseller. If she cant do it then i think the best recourse is to talk over the problem at dinner time in the diner table. Take care of ur fren otherwise seh will become very very introvert infuture if she continues onlike this and may also have an uncontrollable temper sometimes.

make sure she doesnt do it again.
ask her about it. ask her why. and how it is going to help anythign
tell her you dont want her to do it again because she is really important to you and dont want anythign to happen to her .
if she doesnt stop after you talk to her make sure you tell an adult so that she can get help and stop before it gets serious.
ooo and after you talk to her she might try to cover her cuts up so you dont notcie look out for cutting on her hip or another place no one would think to look.
good luck.
i hope everything works out.

i would ask her why she did it? that was stupid for her to cut herself, just because of her mom.
