I don't think that's going to happen...
More and more sportwriters are coming to the obvious conclusion that the OSU-Michigan game IS for the national title. They're realizing that if Michigan doesn't beat Ohio State in their game, then they don't deserve another shot at the title... this upcoming game WILL BE THEIR SHOT.
If these teams can expect a rematch in January, they might was well not play any of their starters during their November meeting... why risk losing a key player to an injury, if they're assured of another crack at each other in January?
This is it, Ohio State.
This is it, Michigan.
The time to win the National Title is in November, not January.
If you win in November, January will probably take care of itself.
Can't wait for this game...it's not a USC/Texas matchup for the ages, but they're the two best teams this year... I wish that Saturday would hurry up and get here, that's gonna be a great game...I hope!

While it is an outside possibility, It probably would not happen. The only way I see it happening is if Michigan wins a very close game (say 1 to 3 points) and the polls and rankings keep Ohio State at #2 (Michigan would be #1). I just don't see it happening.

i visit say no for many motives. First, the SEC is sooo hard that i'm undecided even LSU can dodge a loss, particularly with the championship recreation. Florida pushed them to the final 2d, and there are a number of different stable communities there. and notwithstanding in the event that they do flow by this long stretch i do no longer understand in the event that they'd proceed to exist yet another recreation. seem at OSU final twelve months how all human beings needed reachable them the identify and that they lost. ought to ensue returned in the event that they get there. 2d, Ohio State can no longer e the huge Ten champion, they'd finally end up initiate a co-champ, yet there'll be 2 or perhaps 3 communities with one loss. and that they are going to be harm via the lack of a championship, the place they could make up a gap or 2 on the top (yet this is yet another subject count). yet I nonetheless think of they'd get by driving their D. hence, i might would desire to seem at Oklahoma because of the fact they have via far the simplest time table left and OSU interior the national identify recreation. With an OU win.

Yes if the Number 3 and 4 teams both lose in the same week it would be OSU and Michigan still at 1 and 2.

Could they, well it is possiable espically with the crappy system of the BCS. Should they? NO. Espically not with how late in the season they are playing anyway. Hopefully though the Big East Champ is undefeated(short of some amazing thing where Pitt wins and that would make me almost as happy just because they get a BCS game) and eliminates any concerns of this.

this will only happen if there are no other undefeated teams out there. plus auburn and florida will have to have 2 losses. and yes, the ohio state-michigan game will have to be a close one and a classic.
i'd personally love to see them play twice in the same year. then again, lots of other great teams out there that deserve a shot at the title.

Nope. Michigan loses, they're out. Their strength of schedule isn't, with non-conference wins over powerhouses like Central Michigan, Vanderbilt, and Ball State. And the Big Ten is horrid this year.

No, I say whatever team loses that game gets knocked out of the race for the BCS. Though, if ohio state loses(which I doubt), I think they may be able to fight back into contention.
