It doesn't "mean" anything. It's part of the QB cadence. The offense starts the play on a certain count, say 3, after the QB yells hut 3 times. That's a crude explanation, but it's accurate. It ensures the offense moves at the same time. If the offense moves at different times it will get false start penalties on every single play.

when the quarter back says hut it means that the play has started. Nobody can move untill the quarterback says hut or they get a penalty

it can mean a couple of things...it can be meant to try and get the defense offsides or it could mean to snap the ball it all depends.. also it could just be a distraction of a cadense of some sort to get the defense confused because they usually dont use it in their cadense it just depends on how the offense is ran or what level of football you are playing
