In the U.S. it varies. In some states it's 16, in some you can at 14. New York, for instance, allows a 16-year-old to operate a motorcycle with learner's permit. But then, in New York, you can operate a motorcycle on your parent's or other relative's property without considering age at all. You can ride a trail bike on Grampa's farm if you can handle the machine, whether you're seven or seventy. That also applies to snowmobiles, jet skis, ATVs and even ordinary cars and trucks. Just don't take them off Grampa's property or you, your parents, and Grampa will all have to answer to the law. It wouldn't be pretty...so learn to ride that bike on your family's property if you're in New York or anywhere else it's allowed, and by the time you're old enough, you can pass the road test with no problem the first time!

Depends on state. Moped = 15 in most. Motorcycle = 16.5 or 17

It really depends on where you live. The age can range from state to state. I know in Wyoming you can get a learners permit at 15 years of age. But that may not be true in other states.

15 and a half with a permit and a supervisor that has a license watching you. Then it's 16 with a license and no one needs to be watching you. I really depends on the state though.

u need a regular lisence and u have to be 16 and have a motorcycle permit, when u get your motorcycle permit u need a parent to sign a consent form.

that depends on your state in TX you have to be 18 to get the class M endorsement but some states its still 16
