Most doctors recommend that you wait until the first day of your missed period before taking a home pregnancy test. This is usually around two weeks after conception. However, some tests are more sensitive (and more expensive) than others and can be taken earlier. Concentrations of hCG are reported in milliInternational Units (mIU) or amounts equal to 1/1000th of an IU per milliliter. A pregnancy test with a sensitivity of 20 IU/L is more sensitive than one with 50 IU/L.

A blood test administered by your doctor is more sensitive than the early home tests and can be taken between seven and twelve days after you conceive.

Basically 2 weeks. Then test in the am. Babies are a HUGE change to your life, so If you only think you are ready & not prepared to devote ALL your time, 24 hrs a day to a whaling little upset person who spits all over you & demands everything all day, then you might want to go get the new plan B pill from the Dr. It prevents implantation in the uterus, but you have to do it I believe within 48 hrs.

A blood test will show if you are pregnant or not 7 days after conception.
You can test 19 days from the day you think you became pregnant.
I took a pregnancy test 7 days before my period was even due and it was positive. The name of the pregnancy test was "Answer" (Not that expensive)

Anyhow go to http://www.peeonastick.com and there it will answer all your questions about pregnancy testing/tests

I think with E.P.T. you can find out 5 days before your missed period, other than that I'm not sure.
