Well, it depends on what kind of sandwich. If its a typical ham and cheese sandwich, then its a sandwich. If you can get it at Subway or Quiznos its a sub. There are hoagies in certain restaurants, but I dont usually go to those places. Theres a lot more, but my brain is kinda fuzzy today so I dont really feel like thinking about it.

Sandwiches are sandwiches
and Subs are subs....
those are the only 2 that I know of. Sometimes I buy hoagie buns, but my kids would still call that a sandwich.

Ummm...a sandwich, if I'm making a regular sandwich at home. If you go to Subway or Quizno's or something, they call it a Sub and other places call it a Hoagie. So, it depends.

a sandwich is just that , a hoagie ,a sub , a grinder are just what they are called here in michigan ...... sandwich to me is two pieces of bread with contents in the middle ,and the rest are more .....is that politcally correct ? lol
