I wear flats ALL THE TIME! I love them, and I have like ten pairs. I paid like $85 on a pair, and it's really bumming me out. Because after a few wears like ( maybe a few days) they start to smell kinda bad :[ I can't wear socks, because you can see them, and it looks tacky. Is there anything else I can do? Please help. oh and also, how can I get the nasty smell out of my shoes? Will it ever come out?

When you're not whering your shoes, put baking soda in your them. It absorbs the smell, and when you're done, dump it out. If it doesn't work, then no offense, but maybe your feet stink. I had the same problem. Just buy a product called 'Odor Eaters' from Wal-Greens and rub it on your feet and put socks on before you go to sleep. When you wake up, wash your feet. It works.

smell is caused by sweat and air meeting.
you sweat it dries and you sweat again.
baking powder or washing them gently with saop might help.
also you can get rid of the smell by leaveing them in the sun for 40 minutes.(if that shoe is expencive i wouldnt do that) but sun destry odor from fabrics.

another try is by leaveing them outside in the cold for the night.
or go to the drug store and buy a powder and use that.
flats have metallic or rubberish soles right?
you can use those just by getting water and soap.
i would try leaving them outside in the cold over night.

Always wash your feet before you wear them. And then get some odor eaters foot powder spray to prevent odors and get rid of existing ones. That should help. I have to do that with some of my boots
