People aren't tanning as much as they were. I only tan if I have an event coming up or when it's getting closer to summer time. Winter, I don't think it really matters, not like your going to be showing off your legs much, lol. But if you have something that you want to look tan for, go get a Mystic Tan done. It's just a spray tan, call your local tanning salons and ask if they offer it. You'll look dark in a few hours. It doesn't look orange either. Hope this helps.

No, many artificial tans look just that, artificial and fake. Sometimes it even turns out splotchy and uneven and I have seen people who were not at all satisfied with it. It is also a waste of money. I guess if you know people who have gone tanning and their tans look good, then you could go where they went and you would have less to worry about, but I still wouldn't suggest it.

Nothing wrong with tanning
Go to a salon though and don't go for more than 10min a session to get a nice, non orange/scary tan. Also remember to moisturize afterward, your skin will be dry and you don't want to peel.
Know when to stop, nothing worse than an over tanned woman.

depending on the beds, your skin tone, the lotion you choose to use. consult someone who works at the tanning salon, they dont want to make you look dumb. i know when i started tanning i had to fill out a questionnaire about my skin, i have an olive skin tone, and sensitive skin, so they recommended I use a certain lotion and they dictated my tanning minutes.I recommend you listen to their advice it'll prevent your skin from changing into some funky colour you weren't expecting.

I suggest Banana Boat Summer Color Sunless Lotion. It really does look natural and you can control how dark it gets. If you get the spray, it has bronzer in it that shows up immediately.

Nope. God made your skin the color that it is for a reason. What you were born with is what looks best on you. Don't succumb to the world's standards of "beauty"!

No......get some self tanners, or lotions that are kind of like self tanners. It's safter than a real tan. And if you don't want wrinkles, don't do it.

tanning makes me feel yummy, warm and relaxed.
i think as long as you don't burn and go moderately, it is ok.
i still don't think the white look is totally in.....
