I am trying to write a fantasy short story to post on quizilla (which I someday would like to publish into a book, if that is possible), and I need 5 names for continents that would suit the name of the world: Lynuu.

The names can include ' (ex. Lyn'uu).

The example was Lyn'uu. You can use any beginning you want and any combinations of letters. They do not have to have these letters if you do not want to use them.

Might I suggest that you do not name all your five continents as Lyn---. Readers might get a little confused with all the "Lyns".
I offer "Mu" as one and "Kyntrel". In your story, would a certain race of people inhabit one continent - say perhaps "Murians". If your story runs on those lines you could give each continent a name that fits the inhabitants and thereby making it easier for the reader to remember the place. Good luck on the story. There is nothing like a good story to take you to another place when you can't physically take a vacation.

The world was first settled by the linux tribe. The continents are: Linspire, Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Freespire, and the dreaded Fedoru which is particularly mean.

I love how JK Rowling always tries to mix two words for a name, it could be in another language.

EX: "Gelbpelle"
"Gelb" means yellow in German and "pelle" skin in Italian
That coould be Asie

"Nee" for Africa means lion in Russia

And so on .....
