My Origianl is " My ignorance of collge preparation is replaced with..." "Ignorance" is too negative for my personal statement but I cant think of or find others words to replace it. Thx for helping!

sounds much better...or something similar.

Ignorance is the word.

You are not trying or want to use a positive word, that is not what your sentence is about.

You want to invoke a negative tone.
