It is some sort of anti phishing thing, but it has this code, a group of letters I guess and a blob of color. What if I cannot see the text, and why can't I see the text? Every once in a while I can make out the letters or numbers but most often I cannot.

If you are color-blind to the schemes used on the site, most sites have alternative mechanisms for security purposes. I've seen them on sites - their names evade me at the moment.

Just `refresh' or `reload' that page again.. the numbers will change.. keep on doing that until you come to one that you can read.. simple :)

btw that group of numbers is a security thing which denies bots (robots) from auto-signing up themselves into the site in question by filling up the form automatically.. the bots can fill up the form, but they cannot read the embedded and distorted text

Because the text color may be the same as the box color... So try changing the color of text.
