Go to this website http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katharine_Hepburn and scroll down to where it talks about family. Here's another website to visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audrey_Hepburn
Here's a couple of sentences from the website http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katharine_Hepburn, "It is sometimes claimed that Audrey Hepburn and Katharine Hepburn were related. The truth is they were only very distantly related, and certainly had never met before the former's rise to prominence."

It is sometimes claimed that Audrey Hepburn and Katharine Hepburn were related. The truth is they were only very distantly related, and certainly had never met before the former's rise to prominence. The closest relationship that has been identified for them is 19th cousins once removed. It has also been claimed that Audrey chose the last name Hepburn in honor of Katharine when she became an actress; however, the record shows that it was part of her family name for some time before she entered show business.

Hepburn & Hepburn
By THOMAS MALLON
"If Katharine Hepburn and Audrey Hepburn ever met, the encounter has gone unrecorded in two new biographies" of the namesake stars, who probably had less in common than Joan Crawford and Broderick Crawford. Cecil Beaton, who dressed them both, found the older Hepburn to be “the egomaniac of all time,” whereas the younger one possessed, he thought, a “waifish, poignant sympathy.” Beaton was better equipped temperamentally to spot the first type, but readers of William J. Mann’s “Kate” and Donald Spoto’s “Enchantment: The Life of Audrey Hepburn” will be hard pressed to argue with the essence of the designer’s appraisals.

As an actress Hepburn was known for her gracefully petite figure (and famously long neck) and for her air of playful elegance. Among her best-known films were Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961), My Fair Lady (1964), and Roman Holiday (1953). She won the Best Actress Oscar for the latter and was nominated for Oscars four other times: for Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Nun's Story (1959), Sabrina (1954), and Wait Until Dark (1967). During the last dozen years of her life she worked as a special goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF). Hepburn is no relation to fellow actress Katharine Hepburn.
