Probably not directly, unless you're really close... even so, this could offend her! However, it's good that you care and want to help- just do it subtly. Maybe go to a department store and suggest that you both get makeovers for fun! Then tell her that it looks really good and she should get some of the stuff. Or just casually bring up the subject of makeup, and ask her what she uses then tell her some good brands, then give her some pointers on applying it. Good luck!

First of all, who gets to decide that the makeup looks bad? Your friend may like the look she has or maybe she just need a little help in that area. Maybe a suggestion such as let's do each others make up, or offering to give her tips on what would make her look nice. Just be careful how you offer advice, as you do not want to hurt your friend.

yes, but tell her nicely, not like, your makeup makes u look ugly, they might not be your friend anymore. get an expert to give her a little tip or something. Take her to the makeup section with you and see if someone is available for both of you....that way you haven't centered her out.

Well, duh! Of course I'll tell my friend that he make up looks bad, because if you don't tell her, your friend is gonna be mad at you for not telling her that he make up looks bad when someone else tells her that he make up looks bad.

depends. the colors? or she doesn't know how to wear it?
if it's the first one, just take her to the mall and suggest new colors. [[beg her to buy them too]].

if it's the second, maybe just tell her that her eyeliner [[or whatever]] looks funny today. and help her re-do it. don't tell her that she's looked like crap from day one. but make it seem like a "one day" thing. and help her out.

Tell her, instead, what would look good on her.
Say, you know what look would really suit your face, skin?
If she is interested, tell her, but don't put down her current look.
she might like that look...."in matters of taste, there can be NO dispute."
