Coming from the fashion queen (lol), I would know what to do. If your job is SOPHISTICATED wear: black dress pants, a flowy top, hair in bun, and a cute pair of heels (preferably black).
If your job is sophisticated yet ALLOWING wear: dark wash jeans, tank (any color except pink, green, and orange... I prefer dark blue, black, or something around there), dress jacket (dark blue), mary janes (or heels), and hair curled.
Since you want to be comfy (we know everybody does), you should wear either the ALLOWING choice, or wear this:
For CUTE yet COMFY styles wear: hair half up (top half bun, lower half curls), loose (but form fitting) women's dress suit, with heels or mary janes. Here is a website to look at the outfit (minus hair, but believe me, it will look soooo cute) just go to:

(It is the first picture on the left, the chelsea studios)
I really hope I help you. Finally my powers are going towards something worth while. Have fun being a hot mama! Luv ya, Kira S

if you are going shopping at a center or mall just call ahead or show up and let the retail associates help. Alot people that work in this area actually have fun putting outfits together for guests. If anyone gets attitude just go to the next because I'm telling you some people love to "play dress up".
I say this because (A) I hate shopping, (B) I have no fashion sense, and (c) I have no patience for trying clothes on only to find out after I put them on that they don't even match.
So I get help and get out in a snap!

wear clothes that compliment ur figure. id recommend a skirt suit with a soft slightly frilly lapels if ur voluptuous, & severe lapels with piping if ur really thin... a simple blouse that ur comfy in (i recommend leaving only 2 buttons undone. any more looks a bit skanky & less looks wierd.)make sure al ur cothes are made from smooth fabrics & won't snag on each other... it really bad if ur skirt gets caught on ur jacket... the colors depend on ur complexion. if the suit's pale (like the frilly 1 should b) wear a pale top in a contrasting color. the severe suit looks best in navy with a white shirt... if u've seen desperate housewives, the white suit Lynette wore for her presentation would look VVVVVVVVVVV HOT on anyone... good luck, just be confident & maybe ask a friend for opinions.

try wearing dresses in neutral shades, and pair them with bold colored accessories likes necklaces and bags. one 'professional-yet-playful' looking outfit i like is this black jumper type suit, and your can wear a long sleeve white polo shirt underneath.
try forever21.com or zara.com
