I know tons! Plus, there's a lot of sites out there for fans of Disney parks with all this info and more. But be careful what you believe and verify your sources, much of the info you've received so far is at best innacurate and at worst utter hogwash.
1. There is a half-court basketball area at the top of the Matterhorn. No, it was not built to circumvent Anaheim rules on building heights. It really is just a hoop hung up in the breakroom used by the climbers.
2. The Matterhorn was not planned for the initial park, but once the Skyway went in, Walt wanted to disguise the pillars. Thus, the Matterhorn was born.
3. The gold spike in the entrance to the Sleeping Beauty's Castle does not mark the center of Disneyland, nor did it ever. The Hub is the center of Disneyland (look at an aerial photo). The gold spike is a survey marker and was used to line up the Castle with the center of Main Street. There are many survey markers located throughout the park.
4. Disneyland is bigger than it looks. Originally, the Disneyland Railroad marked the boundary of the park. However, it soon became clear to the Imagineers that the park could not contain their planned attractions. Several attractions take guests down below ground level a bit and under the Railroad tracks, into a show building built on the back lot. Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Small World, and Indiana Jones use variations on this technique.
5. Snow White's Adventures was initially too scary for little guests, so it was renamed Snow White's SCARY Adventures. Above the attraction is a red curtained window (visible from across the way at Peter Pan). Every so often, the Wicked Queen opens the curtains and peers down at the guests. The Snow White queue line also features a golden apple that, when touched, allows you to hear the Witch's cackle. Inside the ride, the Witch offers a poisoned apple, but the apple was stolen by guests so often that it was replaced by a reflection.
6.Walt is not frozen and is not buried in any of the parks. Walt was cremated and is buried at Forest Lawn.
7. Buildings get smaller as they get bigger. On Main Street, each story is a percentage smaller than the one below it, to give a perception of height. Same with the Castle: it gets proportionally smaller as it gets higher.
8. The Castle did once have a walk-through attraction of scenes from Sleeping Beauty. It was closed fairly recently. But, when they were planning the attraction, Walt took a tour and was ravaged by fleas.... the parks resident cat population had taken up residence!
9. The Rivers of America, Castle moat, and Jungle Cruise waterways are all connected. In fact, there used to be a canal connecting the Rivers and the Jungle Cruise, long since paved over. The water isn't deep, but it isn't dirty either. It has a special dye to make it cloudy, so you can't see the bottom.
10. On Main Street, many of the windows pay tribute to some of the early designers of the park. And on both Main Street and New Orleans Square, if you listen you can hear conversations coming from the windows.
11. Walt's baby picture can be seen in the Baby Changing Area on Main Street.
12. Sometimes designers pay homage to what came before. In the Pooh attraction, which took over the Country Bear's theater, Imagineers left the three talking mounted heads in place. They aren;t easily spotted, though because they are overhead and behind your vehicle.
13. The glass used in the Ballroom effect of the Haunted Mansion is supposed to be the largest single pane in the world. It had to be lowered into the building by crane before the roof was put on. Many years ago, a guest took potshots at the ghosts with a BB gun, and the crack can still be seen, covered by a spider web.
14. That same guest also took shots at the dinosaurs in the diorama seen from the Railroad. The diorama of the Grand Canyon has the largest painted backdrop in the world. These attractions, along with Small World, were initially created for the World's Fair.
15. George Lucas makes a cameo appearance in Star Tours. Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman) is the voice of your pilot. And in the queue you might hear a Mr. Egroeg Sacul being paged - that's George Lucas backwards.
16. There are no underground tunnels at Disneyland. There are a few basements and kitchen areas, but you can't get from one side of the park to the other. That's why when DisneyWorld was being planned, they put the Utilidoors under the Magic Kingdom. Walt grew tired of seeing Tomorrowland cast members walking through Frontierland on their way to work.
17. There are cameras everywhere, no matter what you're told. In addition to cameras there are pressure pads and Electric Eye beams. From a safety standpoint, the park needs to know where every guest is and that they are a safe distance from dangerous machinery. Still, some people do stupid things, like the man who tried to get out of his Doombuggy to touch Madame Leota's globe in the Haunted Mansion, only to fall about 20 feet to the floor below. The park has since installed a safety net.
18. The Tiki Room was the first attraction to use animatronics. It was also originally supposed to be a restaurant, which is why it is the only attraction with built-in bathrooms.
19. Sometimes, all you have to do is ask. It is possible to sit up front with the engineers on the Disneyland Railroad, and it is also possible to steer the Mark Twain from the wheelhouse. Just ask.
And lastly
20. Club 33 is a special restaurant above Pirates of the Caribbean. You can see it from the attraction above the patio seating area of The Blue Bayou restaurant. There is a long waiting list and over $5000 in annual dues to get into Club 33, and you have to be a member or a guest of a member to dine there. It is also the only place to find alcohol in Disneyland. The Club also connects to the Disney Gallery, which was planned to be a family apartment for Walt. He died before it was finished, but his original apartment above the Fire Station remains intact.

There was something on TV about this, but I only remember a few:
1. As you go under the Cinderella Castle, look on the ground. See that gold circular thing? When the park was originally made, that stake signifyed the center of the park.
2. On the second floor of a building in New Orleans Square, somewhere around the exit to Pirates of the Carribean, there is a very fancy restaraunt. But don't bother trying to get in, though - unless you are a very important person and have a reservation, you'll have no chance at getting in.
3. I'm not sure if this is just a rumor, or an actual fact, but I hear that below Disneyland is their security, monitoring their computers.

Bravo Dougebear - Well said! I would like to add two things ... first of all, to one of the posters waaaay above - I recently read an article that stated emphatically that they are *NOT* changing Tom Sawyer's island into Pirate's of the Caribbean. Just FYI.
And thing the second - do a yahoo search for 'hidden mickeys" before you go to Disneyland next time - there are many, many of them everywhere, and many that are not even discovered as yet! Also, just ask a castmember, they can point some out as well.

If you go there be sure to get some fudge in the little town thing. It's AMAZING, but i suggest not really buying a lot there because everything is totally overpriced. Also GET FAST PASSES!! What you do, is when your in line for a ride there's a little thing that says fast pass, punch that and u get a ticket. Later when the line is a 45 minute wait you go in the fast pass line with ur ticket and you get on the ride in like 10 min. do this especially on SAPCE MOUNTAIN. It's one of the best rides, so the wait is like an hour and a half.

I'm not sure this is even true, but I THINK my friend said one time that at the top of the Matterhorn mountain, there used to be a basketball court up there inside the mountain. Once again, I don't know if that's even true.

Yeah, I guess I'll just tell you my life story.
I was born into a family of 3 children. My older brother was 3 when I was born and my older sister was 2.
Me, my mom, dad, brother, and sister all lived inside the matterhorn mountain.
Nobody knew that we lived there. We had a lot of fun and every night since I turned 3 we would all go out and ride the rides. We slept all the day so we could stay up all night at the park.
Of course I had to be protected and couldn't ride all the rides.
When I got older we met some wolves. Their names were Hoo, Niko and Freddy. They had gray/brown fur. They came to live in our house for a couple of months. This was when I was around 7 years old.
On my 10th birthday we all were going out to ride the rides. Except when we were going to come back, we didn't make it in time. The manager caught us at around 8am.
He sent us away from Disneyland.
However I would like this story to have a happy ending, so I will say that me and my husband live happily with our kids Choocha, 8, and Kranberri, 10.
