If you're gay (I'm not, I'm just curious) in University, do they treat you any differently? I mean, I think it'd be a bit of a conflict of interest to have a gay guy in a dorm with 3 straight guys...just like it'd be a problem to have one male around 3 females.

So do they do anything differently?

Yes, I really am that stupid. I'm a child. I've never been in a University and know nothing about them. That's why I asked, jerk.

For the most part, they are treated like everyone else -- especially in the very protective environment of a college campus. If problems arise, roommates can be switched or if the gay person is being harrassed some way, universities today usually have policies in place against things like that and will act accordingly.

The university though sometimes gives gay (or LGBT people) the false idea that they will be accepted everywhere. This is not true and any gay person had better realize that to protect himself or herself. And I'm talking about when they walk off a college campus. It's a dangerous world out there.

A lot of times on a university campus, gay people will hang around each other in groups -- like in hallways and such. They also meet at the LGBT offices on campuses or any Lamda centers on or off campus.

People who go to college and Universities have enough or more than enough intelligence to know that Gay men do NOT jump on everything that wears pants, anymore than you jump on every guy that comes along. Where did you get the idea that Gay men cannot resist another guy???? Sorry, but you need more info. Gay men are no different than straight men...they do not try to put the make on every thing they see. Good luck
I should add that NO WHERE on a college application does it ask if you are gay.

connect the club. it's going to be a competent thank you to fulfill people and make acquaintances. Your former severe college classmates are not probable to be sure which you're interior the club except they connect and attend conferences besides -- after which you will comprehend that they are gay too. :-) it could or won't be actual that *maximum golf equipment* pass outdoors and do events throughout college hours, yet because this could be the 1st 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of this club, you don't comprehend what events they are going to be working, or whilst. As a member of the club, you will have the potential to help elect what events the club will do, and whilst -- and whether the club comes to a decision to run an activity throughout college hours, there is not any rule that declares you *ought to* attend that activity. And opposite to what you may think of -- maximum persons in college have seen gay people previously, so there is not any reason to think of that persons will stare at you or think of undesirable issues approximately you.

I would assume that there might be different rules in different places, but at my school they don't do anything differently. If they did, it would technically be a form of segregation, and...that's no good. They try to encourage it as one of those "experiences" that both the gay and straight boys in question will learn from.

college is about learning ....the university are not concerned with gays, they are there to educate the students, and as long as someone is doing what they are supposed to do [which is take classes and learn] they stay out of students personal lives.....i think this is the way to go, and i do not study people

they treat them like everybody else...just because a guy is gay doesn't mean he wants to have sex with every straight guy he sees...most gays have far more control than to try to sleep with one of their dorm mates.
