I recently became a user on Ebay, and I noticed allot of people selling their items are asking too much for shipment. One guy had a MAD magizine listed with the shipping cost of $8.00 Another was selling a DVD with the shipping cost of $7.99 Keep in mind that other magizines were being auctioned with the shipping price of $0.99 and other DVD'S had shipping as low as $2.00 A few even offered free shipping. So what's with these people?

I sometimes go on ebay looking for something and alot of times the shipping is more then the item and I think it is crazy. I think some people are out to sucker other into there little sceam but not me if I dont think the shipping is reasonable I wont get it. most of them are out there to get more money then what it's worth and thats wrong.

You have to realize that these same people also sell their goods for .01 or .99. There really is no such thing as S&H 'gouging' per se because buyers consider the total cost of the product i.e. product plus shipping. Who cares whether the shipping is $99 and the product is $1, or the product is $100 and the shipping is free. The total cost is the same.

Have you concidered the actual cost for shipping, supplies. Your also "hiring" the seller to ship it. Not all the sellers have a daily pickup from UPS, FedEx or whatever ship method they use. So, they actually got to go to the post office or UPS, FedEx ship center to ship it. So, that "so-called" outrageous shipping cost is paying for that.
