I asked my 15 year old to describe where in the bowling alley (which I've been to many times) that they now have the screen to play music videos which she was talking about. She thought it too hard to describe and stomped upstairs.

i've been in the same situation (as the teen) she was probably just telling you about the music videos, and didn't want you asking a million questions. i know, it's just something stupid, and it is, you would think we would get more upset about other things. just give her her space and she'll talk to you when she wants to. sometimes my mom starts asking me annoying questions about stupid stuff, like why i want to do something without her, and the whole point is that she's not supposed to know. It's nothing big, so i would just like my space on at least some things. your daughter probably felt the same way. just chalk it up to our raging hormones.

hormones and emotions run wild at 15. it had nothing to do with the question, she probably felt like you were getting too involved in her life or she was already upset about something else in her life....

girls are tough to raise...hang in there and walk the fine line of not taking her crap and letting her fly on her own...tricky, i know:)

Children's brains are still developing, and it's difficult for them to speak coherently now and then. They may find this frustrating, and stomp off. Be patient - they will eventually move out.

its because where it is is not relevant, it doesnt matter the setting or background, all that matters is that there was a screen that they were playing music videos on

maybe she or he is going through a rough time and just is getting frustrated easily, there used to be times when i was like that. you probably shouldnt bother him or her about it either because that will just make them even more mad.

To her it was so OBVIOUS that you of course, must be senile. Take heart, parents get smarter as their kids age, and we get really smart about the time they become parents.
