Hi everyone,
I hope this is not too confusing. Recently my fiance and i decided to try and have a baby. In August, i was really stressed with work, so august i spotted weird, and sept. i had a really light period(not a major deal-i've skipped 6 months before because of stress) Than end of september i had a normal period again. We had sex on what would be my peak ovulation dates. Now i missed my next period, took a first response 2 days late and got neg. Is there a chance i could still be pregnant? I am now 10 days late, having clear discharge(like pre ov. kind) I know my period was messed up before but normally once i have a period again, it becomes normal right away. Sorry if this is so confusing?!! I was nauseous on and off and my breasts are alittle sore and cramping on and off..PLease help!!!

Yes, you could still be pregnant, especially since you have not taken another preg test since you were 2 days late. Your body probably did not have enough hcg built up when you took it 2 days after your missed period. I will try again, if still neg and still no period, then go to doc's and do a blood test which will be a DEFINITE yes or no. Good Luck.

I took a test and it didn't work as soon as normal. With some women it taked longer fot the pregnancy hormone to be detected. Now have you taken another test since then? It should be positive by now, by the 10 days late. Take another test they are pretty accurate.

It's a good possibility. False negatives are very common. You may not have enough hormones yet to be detected. Wait a bit longer & take another. Your symptoms coud be pregnancy symptoms, however they could also be premenstrual symptoms. That thing likes to play tricks sometimes! lol

The best way to know for sure is to have a blood test done. If it is negative, then you need to see an obgyn to see if you need some meds to get your cycle regulated. I hope this is helpful.

The symptoms sound promising. Use another test with your first pee in the morning since your urine is more concentrated then. Best wishes!
