I have always wanted to work on a farm and the college I attend has a farm and is hiring and it also goes with my major (agri business) so my question is would it be real hard to get started? I love working so the work part will not bother me.

Hi, my name is Eunice Saunders and I grew up on a farm. Farming is very hard work, very physical work. It is also very rewarding and fun if you like the out-door rugged type of life. I highly recommend it especially if you plan to make agriculture your life's work. Good Luck, Eunice

It's usually good for you and you get first hand experience. I don't think you will be experiencing the same work I did as a kid.
You go from the city to throwing bales of hay weighting 75 to 120 lbs a bale into a hay wagon is anew experience, not to mention first the blisters, and than callous you'll end up with. But I doubt you'll be in that situation.
Watching plants grow and knowing you helped do it is very rewarding. Just don't give up after the first few days.
