What would be good to use to make a couple of home-made hockey sticks? I want to go out and play some street hockey, but I can't aford to buy any sticks right now. Any ideas?

I live in southern Kentucky and hockey sticks are extremely scarce and extremely overpriced

you will never make one that will stand the test of time. save up some bucks and go buy one. even the cheapest will be far superior to what you could manufacture. no offence intended.

they are like sometimes less then 10 dollars man...if ur that poor (no offense) u can always try carving one..i guess..
