HELP! I have a spyware called Asniffer and can't remove it.?

Question

I have ran every spyware program I could find to help remove it, but no luck. It freezes up my one spyware program, and it doesn't make any difference in safe mode. I have not been able to install different programs, mainly spyware programs, since this has gotten onto my computer. I have tried using different browsers to no avail. Anyone ever have this problem, and how did you solve it? Thanks for any info you can give.

I have never had this kind of problem. It may be a hidden program in "rootkit". You can download from: http://www.sophos.com There free rootkit. and run the program.

If possible try and download from http://www.ewido.net. You will get AVG antispyware. As Ewido out of Germany was purchased by AVG, out of Prague. Still the same program. The program comes with total features has a background scanner an automatic updates. Scan all 195,000 objects in my pc. The program is not free, but will become free if you don't purchase in thirty day. They will jus remove the background scanner and the automatic updates. Then you will have to update on a manual basis.

Remove the spyware program that you have, so it will not be in your system to freeze up on you. An install the one I above. Excellent antispyware program in detectring what other miss.

If you "Asniffer", is removed, always reboot your system after any spyware or virus has been found and destroyed.

You can also download what is known as, "zero day attacks", spyware or viruses that are like drive by downloads, an no known security company has knowledge of this virus or spyware. When they do by the time they write a signature for the virus or spyware it is much to late. http://www.cyberhawk.com This is an excellent free program that I use to prevent zero day attacks.

Some one told you to download spyware doctor, from http://www.pctools.com Out of Australia. This program is purchased and will not remove anything unless you purchase the program even during the evaluation period. (Plus it destroyed my Windows Media Player 10), during testing. As I test antispyware an antivirus program in my spare time to see if the perform as claimed or have hidden embedded malware either in their program or the wizzard installer used to guide you through the installation.

lets get that out of ur pc ur some antivirus will miss key keylogger and trojans . frist of all you need to download avg antispyware this is verry good in getting all kinda bad files . then you need to download Adaware
a-squared< is verry good in picking up traking software files that is on the pc and it will find them . then download antispyware blocker that will find any type of virus . trojans files with antispyware blocker when you run that at the top of the box ur see

then download spyware doctor that will search the pc for even more spyware adaware . just having 1 or 2 antispyware dont cut any ice at all you neeed what i said to download . when you have them run ur pc in safemode and scan the pc with then 1 at a time . this way from safemode the trojan and keylogger cant hide them self coz there is not internet access on in safe mode all the software i said to download will get the trojans and keylogger

if they say some are in the registry you watch what path there in and get in the registry and right hit on that folder and hit remove dont worry when the pc restart up win xp will creat a new clean folder for you

I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

Try them if not successful reformat your hard drive and reinstall the programmes.
